Studying at the best university of applied sciences in the Netherlands!

Avans has been ranked the number 1 large university of applied sciences in the national ranking for ten consecutive years (Keuzegids 2021). The project-based learning offered by Avans allows our students to work on real life cases in small scaled groups with fellow students. They are prepared for the professional field by carrying out work placements for international companies in both the Netherlands and abroad. Our graduates are active in a wide range of matching and leading positions in companies, the public sector and NGO’s as 92% of our alumni found a job within 3 months upon graduation (HBO monitor, 2020).

All students at Avans have a mentor during their studies. These mentors support students with tailored study guidance and career advice, focusing on development of personal skills and professional competences.
