Description

Online Open Day: study Spanish food culture at MABS!

Why do the Spanish have such a long life expectancy? What exactly is the Mediterranean Diet? How does the Spanish agrifood industry work? Who nurtures the vines of the fine Spanish wines? What are the successes and pitfalls of rural start-ups?

The Mediterranean Agribusiness School (MABS) takes its international students through an extraordinary learning journey to discover the makings of Spanish gastronomy. The experience begins in the classroom where students interact with renowned experts from the agrifood industry, continues through interactive sessions to learn first-hand from professionals, then travels out of the city and into the vineyards and olive groves, up to the mountains to meet rural entrepreneurs and out to the Mediterranean to learn first-hand how mussels and oysters are cultured from floating rafts.

The MABS Summer Program Webinar is provided for students that wish to spend a summer in Spain learning about the Spanish food culture and the Mediterranean Diet. A fluent level of English is required.
