Description

Duration: 1 hour

Are you ready to take a look ahead? Shaping our future is more and more in the hands of those who face the challenges and needs of digital media in a society of networked knowledge and information. The master’s degree programmes at the Computer Science Department of Bauhaus-Universität Weimar are designed to make you a specialist in interactive digital media and a developer of innovative interface solutions.

Our two international master’s degree programmes are:

– Computer Science for Digital Media

The research-orientated programme focusses on the field of interactive digital media. In subjects such as media security, data mining, information retrieval, machine learning and other, students are introduced to the latest research findings.

– Human-Computer Interaction

This technically-orientated programme is located at the intersection of Computer Science and Interface Design, and encloses domains like usability, virtual reality, mobile systems and ubiquitous computing. As a HCI student, you will focus on theoretical and practical issues in interface design and interactive system development.

Additionally, the project-based study approach at Bauhaus Universität Weimar supports the acquisition of soft skills like scientific communication, presentation and writing. With these key competencies, you are best-prepared for the complex international job market in and around Computer Science. In Weimar, you will study at the heart of Germany and get to know a great atmosphere resulting from the synergies between the scientific theory and artistic experimentation inhabiting this important place of German history.

During this webinar, you will get further information about the two master’s degree programmes Computer Science for Digital Media and Human-Computer Interaction, and the application procedures as well as about what studying Computer Science in Weimar is like from an international student’s point of view. If you have a bachelor’s degree in the domains of Computer Science,Software Engineering or a similar field of study, your English proficiency level is B2 or higher and you are interested in the scientific or design- practical aspects of digital media, we’d be happy to welcome you at our webinar and – as a next step – at our university.
