Can AI improve emotional well-being? Presented by Kaunas University of Technology (KTU)
Description
Join us for a webinar exploring research from Kaunas University of Technology (KTU), where scientists are harnessing artificial intelligence to detect depression. KTU researchers – Rytis Maskeliūnas and Musyyab Yousufi have developed a multimodal AI model that analyzes both speech patterns and brain activity (EEG) to distinguish between depressed and non-depressed individuals — achieving an impressive 97.5% accuracy.
During the session, we’ll dive into how combining voice and neural data provides an understanding of emotional states, the technical foundations behind the model, and the ethical challenges of using AI in mental health care.
Participants will also learn about the importance of explainable AI in building trust, data privacy concerns in mental health research, and the potential of AI-powered tools to support faster and more objective diagnosis in the future.
Discover how emerging technologies are transforming the way we manage stress, anxiety, and overall psychological well-being.
Join the webinar to find out more and hear/ ask questions!
